Our products combine scientific insight and design with a deep understanding of diabetic requirements, striving to be a symbol of empathy and responsibility in the footwear industry.
Founded on extensive professional and personal experience with diabetic patients, Diawin creates footwear tailored to their specific needs. Since 2017, Diawin has been recognized as a reimbursed medical device in Slovakia, and in 2018 expanded into the Ukrainian market. By 2023, our reimbursed diabetic footwear was available in the Czech Republic and continued to grow across Europe, including Germany, France, Italy, and Spain, as well as through Amazon.
Tens of thousands of European diabetics confirm the effectiveness of our shoes. Clinical studies show a 78.28% reduction in ulcer recurrence, supported by the Slovak Diabetes Society.

History
2016
After several years of preparation including analysis, clinical studies, design, and prototyping, the development of footwear certified as a Class I medical device logically followed — and Diawin was born. The brand was founded to provide high-quality preventive orthopedic shoes specifically designed for people with atypical feet and diabetes.
2017
Diawin was officially registered in Slovakia as a medical device and included in the list of reimbursed medical aids. Shortly after, it became a market leader in its category — tens of thousands of Slovaks now wear Diawin daily, confirming the brand’s popularity and consumer trust.
2018
Ukraine – Diawin successfully entered the Ukrainian market. This milestone confirmed the strength of our concept and motivated further expansion. The success in Ukraine brought valuable experience and opened the door for our brand to grow into more European countries and beyond.
2023
Registration in the Czech Republic – Continuing our mission to provide accessible footwear for people with atypical feet and diabetes, Diawin expanded its reach and became a registered reimbursed medical device for diabetics with neuropathy under Czech health insurance. This marked an important milestone in our expansion and our ongoing commitment to improving the quality of life for our customers.
2024
Clinical validation – Clinical studies confirmed that wearing Diawin footwear can significantly reduce the risk of recurrent ulcerations.
A study involving 82 diabetic patients with neuropathy, who wore Diawin shoes for 30 months, demonstrated a 78.28% reduction in ulcer recurrence risk.
